Jackie Jordan Studio, Jewelry Handcrafted in Kansas City, MO
About Jackie Jordan Jewelry Studio
I live in Kansas City, Missouri, with my husband and our two cats, Pearl (pictured) and Charlie. I love to travel, golf, read, exercise and I”m passionate about designing jewelry. My work blends a minimalist, architectural sensibility with tactile details: brushed and oxidized sterling silver, thoughtful gold accents, pearls and carefully selected semi-precious stones. Each piece is a small, wearable work of art, crafted with intention for those who seek something truly extraordinary.
I love transforming raw materials into distinctive, wearable art, each piece a quiet conversation between material, technique and form. I am always evolving: curious to learn, eager to experiment and committed to pushing my craft in new directions. Every day brings fresh ideas, technical challenges and small, satisfying rewards; the work is never just jewelry, but a continuing practice of discovery and artistic refinement.
This was not always my passion, so keep reading to learn how I got here.
I was born a creative, forever finding joy and inspiration from craft, design, materials, built and natural environments. This innate spirit translated to a fascination for interiors and a bachelor’s degree in interior design from Kent State University.
I was fortunate to spend my career in the corporate world in roles related to that education and passion. My last decade in that setting was the most rewarding as I directed the color marketing efforts for America’s largest paint company. My role encompassed researching and presenting color and design forecasts and trends, developing color tools for professionals and consumers, designing and art directing interior spaces, and the most fun of all, developing and naming new paint colors!
Yep, that a real job!
In the midst of those years I uncovered a hidden talent for designing and fabricating jewelry. This creative venture ebbed and flowed as I embraced a career that was filled with inspirational journeys, feeding my passion for color and design and influencing my jewelry aesthetic. Retiring after thirty successful years opened the door to starting this small business that brings me such joy. My goal is for everyone to appreciate handmade, unique jewelry that never goes out of style.
As the sole creator at Jackie Jordan Studio, I believe jewelry should be more than adornment, it should be a personal statement, a wearable work of art, and a lasting heirloom. My pieces are crafted by hand with an architectural, minimalist sensibility: clean lines, considered proportions and tactile details that invite touch.
Why handmade matters
Each piece carries the mark of the maker: subtle variations, thoughtful construction and an attention to finish that mass production cannot replicate.
Handcrafting allows me to select materials and details that can age beautifully if desired, or maintained to the original finish, but always everlasting rather than disposable.
Distinctive design resist trends. The graphic, sculptural forms work across seasons and wardrobes, complimenting a simple tee or elevated evening wear.
I design with versatility in mind: pieces that layer, transform or serve as signature accents so investment pieces feel wearable every day.
Distinctive jewelry designs resist trends.
Small runs and one-of-a-kind pieces mean your jewelry remains personal and rare.
I make jewelry for those who value artistry, restraint and longevity. When you choose handmade, unique jewelry from Jackie Jordan Studio, you choose objects that tell a story, become part of your identity and truly never go out of style.
Enjoy!
